When it comes to the design of the U.S. currency, you can say its pretty boring if you compare it to that of other countries. Over the years we can see slight changes, due to concerns of counterfeiting. But the overall feel has stayed the same. I know right now times are tough and we can focus on other things that are more important. But as a designer, I believe redesigning and rebranding our currency would be a great marketing tool, which might help rebuild financial confidence. Besides that point, the American dollar needs a makeover anyways. There is something called the Dollar Rede$ign Project, organized by Richard Smith, a creative strategy consultant.
